About the Role
Maintain and oversee a compliant Process Safety Management program.
Monitor and uphold all EHS compliance requirements across the facility.
Complete Tier II, stormwater, and wastewater reporting.
Manage hazardous and nonhazardous waste streams.
Partner with employees in a cooperative, respectful, and solutions‑focused manner.
Ensure accuracy and legal compliance of all EHS programs, documentation, and reporting.
Conduct thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams on equipment, facility, and process design to ensure safe, ergonomic work environments.
Serve as Chairperson of the Safety Committee and actively support its initiatives.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
Stay current on DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain safety equipment, first aid supplies, and emergency response readiness.
Provide timely and accurate reports to facility leadership and executive management.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety professional who is committed to creating a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and empowered. As our Facility Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist, you’ll help strengthen our safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact—protecting our team, improving our processes, and upholding the highest environmental and safety standards. Working closely with the Director of Environmental Health, Safety, and Security, you’ll guide key EHS initiatives and serve as a trusted resource for employees at every level, helping keep our facility safe, compliant, and ready for the future.
What You’ll Bring
At least 18 years of age.
Bachelor’s degree in a safety‑related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
CPR/AED/First Aid Certified; Instructor certification preferred.
Three to five years of safety experience required.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness.
Ability to coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work off‑shifts as needed.
Must pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
