Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager in Windsor, WI. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting training, and managing safety programs. Candidates should have a relevant degree and 5-7 years of safety experience in manufacturing. The position offers a salary of $85-110K plus bonuses, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday.
Express Employment is now hiring for an EHS Manager in Windsor, WI! Our client manufactures plastic items including water tank liners, water jugs, cat litter boxes, etc. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity!

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:15pm

Pay: $85-110K + monthly and annual bonuses

Work includes:
• Maintain local, state, and federal compliance (OSHA, DOT, DNR, EPA, DHS, and State of Wisconsin) for required written safety programs, training, audits, and documentation.
• Coordinate Safety Committee for overall effectiveness.
• Conduct and coordinate facility inspections, audits work practices, and ensure that corrective action is initiated
• Conduct the safety training for new hire orientation
• Trains, counsels, and advise staff on all safety issues as necessary
• Manage Workers Compensation Program

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management, or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of safety codes, OSHA, EPA DOT, DHS, and State of Wisconsin health regulations
• Working or advanced knowledge or experience in workers compensation
• 5-7 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting
