Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of environmental education at French Creek State Park.

• Plan, organize, and execute educational programs covering environmental and historical topics.
,
• Create and implement guided nature walks, multimedia presentations, informative tours, outdoor recreational activities, and hands-on field learning experiences.

• Align programs with state standards and regulations.
,
• Highlight natural history, important cultural events, and urgent environmental issues.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in environmental education, education, the natural sciences, social sciences, or parks and recreation; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
,
• Willingness to wear a prescribed uniform.
,
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.

• Must pass a background investigation.
