Trees For Tomorrow (TFT), an accredited environmental education center, is pleased to offer 2 Environmental Education Internships for the summer of 2025. This program is an opportunity for interns to gain teaching experience while learning to work with group participants of all ages (from 3 yrs old to adults). Programs are taught both in a classroom and in the scenic outdoors of the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Interns will be guided through learning how to develop, prepare for, and coordinate public environmental education programing as well as receive professional development opportunities in environmental science-related fields.

TFT’s programs often use equipment like canoes and items for archery so interns will be trained in how to use this gear and how to instruct others to use it. TFT programming also utilizes animal artifacts as well as live education animals which interns will be taught to manage and handle. This internship provides candidates the opportunity to learn from professional naturalists while getting the chance to live and work in a place that is typically a vacation destination for most.
