Job Description
Fulton Hogan is seeking an Environmental Coordinator for their Water Projects in Sydney, Australia. This permanent role offers career progression and requires developing environmental documentation, conducting site inspections, and mentoring staff on environmental management. What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Environmental Coordinator for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on newly awarded Sydney Water project. We are recruiting for the West Region Delivery Team on the Sydney Water P4S program. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
• Contribute to the achievement of the contracts environmental objectives and targets
• Develop environmental project delivery documentation, including Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP), Environmental Work Method Statements (EWMS) and Environmental Control Maps (ECM) to ensure compliance with the project Planning Approval Documentation
• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CEMP/EWMS/ECM
• Assist in coaching and mentoring personnel on environmental management by developing and delivering training programs
• Gather data and report environmental performance
• Ensure clear and efficient communication between personnel and Sydney Water on all environmental issues
• Identifying environmental risks and identify solutions
How you'll connect to the role:
• Tertiary qualified in Environmental Science or other related discipline
• Considerable skill and experience in Commonwealth and State environmental legislation
• Knowledge of environmental constraints, issues and management principles applicable to infrastructure corridors
• Knowledge of infrastructure design, construction and maintenance practices
• Strong communication and presentation skills
