Job Description
Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Assessment Lead in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves managing project teams, client communication, and ensuring quality assurance. Candidates should have 15+ years in environmental consulting, with 10 years in project management, and knowledge of California regulations. A BS (MS preferred) in environmental engineering or related field is required, along with professional licensure. The company promotes an inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a full project team, front-line client interaction/communications, and accountable for Quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on project deliverables. Additionally, this individual will mentorship, staff supervision and team leadership, career and technical mentoring and training for junior staff, and assisting in loss prevention and risk management. As a Senior Project Manager and role model, this leadership position requires an excellent attitude and an ability to communicate and effectively manage a very talented bench of internal and external team members/staff.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, in-depth knowledge of California regulations, and the ability to provide high-end technical advisory support. A minimum of 10 years of project management experience with multi-disciplinary environmental compliance projects and proven responsibility with scope / schedule / budget is also required. A BS (MS preferred) from an accredited college/university with a major in environmental engineering, geology, or related field is required. Professional licensure (PE or PG) or the ability to obtain within 3 months is also required.
