What to Expect
• Review analytical data generated by environmental laboratories in accordance with corporate and US EPA data validation standards
• Critically evaluate environmental analytical data to assess usability relative to data quality objectives
• Prepare data quality and usability assessment reports for peer review by project managers or senior chemistry staff
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams and external clients
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and maintain up-to-date knowledge through training and professional publications

What is Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or an allied science from an accredited institution
• No experience required; however, 1+ years of experience in environmental analytical data validation or laboratory work is a plus
• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and their application to environmental data usability assessment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft® Office and knowledgeable in Adobe® Acrobat

Preferred Qualifications
• Coursework in analytical chemistry, analytical instrumentation, environmental chemistry, or environmental science
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with peers
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with accomplishments and performance
