What are we looking for?

The Entry Level Environmental Technician will support the environmental business by conducting environmental consulting work. This includes asbestos and indoor air quality related work and more. This position will require some off-shift and overtime work, as well as occasional travel.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, can vary depending on workload,

What you'll do:
• Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Surveys
• Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Abatement Monitoring
• Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Clearance Sampling
• Asbestos Air Sample Analysis
• Ability to compose and review field documentation and reports
• Ability to communicate with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving and on schedule
• Participate in all QA/QC programs as appropriate and Safety Programs

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Must be able to read and understand scope of work / work plans
• Must be able to work off shifts and overtime and willing to work out of town
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
• Associate's degree or 2-Year Technical Degree
• Experience in environmental consulting services
• Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene experience and license

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound.
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
• Ability to climb occasionally
