ReNew is seeking a Wind Turbine Associate Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbine generators (WTGs). Responsibilities include attending breakdown calls, performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance, and managing site activities. Experience with SGRE turbine technology is preferred. Job Description
The Wind Turbine Associate (Engineer) will act as part of the team to achieve safe and efficient operation and maintenance of WTGs. The engineer will attend breakdown calls and ensure the smooth operation of the WPP, share ownership of WECs with the PM team for execution of PM as per stipulated schedules, and report directly to the Section In Charge and indirectly to the Site In Charge. Responsibilities include performing all 24×7 operation of WTGs, preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on WTGs in a safe and efficient manner, and all site‑related activities such as safety management, documentation, material management, etc. Specific experience in SGRE turbine technology is required.
Specific Responsibilities
Online monitoring and operation of WTGs and associated windfarm componentry.
Experience with SGRE turbine technology is preferred.
Undertake breakdown maintenance, document and maintain service reports.
Perform monthly checks on external electric windfarm componentry.
Undertake, document, and maintain daily generation readings – machine wise and EB meter wise.
Upload productivity performance data on SAP/DGR Portal.
Upload routine service data / service orders on SAP periodically.
Perform electric retrofitting of hardware and software updates time to time.
Support and undertake need‑based special measurements – blade‑angle calibration, major BDs, OEM activity support, etc.
