This role is an excellent career development opportunity for someone who has experience in municipal civil engineering design and construction and is ready to grow in their next role.Job DescriptionCollaborate with a team of engineers in all phases of civil and municipal infrastructure projects involving the planning, design, operations and maintenance of essential City infrastructure such as water, wastewater and stormwater facilities, streets, pedestrian facilities, and other public utilitiesAssist project teams with the development of designs, plans, specifications, engineer's estimates, presentations, and technical reportsRepresent Houston Engineering, Inc in project stakeholder communications and general public engagementDevelop project economics analysis associated with benefit/cost, project value, budgets, and funding opportunitiesSupport professional growth of less-experienced staff through teaching technical design skillsQualificationsAn ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degreeNorth Dakota Professional Engineer license preferredMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in the design and construction of municipal infrastructure engineering projects preferred.Valid driver's license with a good driving recordAuthorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
