Job Description

TLL Consults is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer with at least 3 years in Environmental & Sustainable projects for their Manchester office. Responsibilities include developing environmental strategies, conducting audits, managing pollution control, and leading sustainable procurement. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, a keen interest in behavior change, and excellent communication abilities. This is a full-time position based in Winsford, United Kingdom.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Environmental Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the delivery of Environmental & Sustainable projects to join the team in our Manchester office working on Environmental Projects and sustainable design & construction projects, principally in waste management, carbon emission management and Environmental App Developments.

Have good experience and skills in qualitative research methods in the context of behaviour change and/or behavioural science.


Ensure the organisation is operating in accordance with environmental guidelines and targets.
Creating, implement and monitor environmental strategies to promote sustainable development.
Create wide remit means and review the whole operation, carrying out environmental audits and assessments, resolving environmental problems.
Participate in environmental education and research negotiate environmental service agreements and manage associated costs and revenues.
Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to ensure sustainable development.
Lead on sustainable procurement for all apps, goods and services.
Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy.
Audit, analyse and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies carry out impact assessments.
Implement best practice in areas of corporate, ethical and social responsibility.


Have proven project management and leadership experience – with strong client handling skills and an ability to coordinate a environmental team and deliver work on time and budget.
Have a keen interest in Government behaviour change work – projects to understand behaviour and design interventions and strategies for change.
Have strong organisational skills – are confident in managing time, meeting deadlines and working both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
Like being with and advising clients on project issues and working with others to share learnings and best practice
Are ambitious and interested in innovation and creative thinking – excited by learning curves and being challenged
