Job Description

Joules Power Limited is seeking an Engineer in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and up to 4 years of experience, preferably in Solar Energy. Responsibilities include operational reporting, plant maintenance, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and training staff. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and effective communication with stakeholders. Freshers are welcome to apply. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities & Context





Prepare and submit DGR, BDR, breakdown, maintenance, and operational reports within the required timeline while providing necessary operational inputs.
Ensure smooth plant operation through generation analysis, troubleshooting, CAP implementation, repair/upgradation, and monitoring of plant equipment and machinery.
Maintain 100% SCADA, CCTV, OFC, and communication connectivity by monitoring abnormalities, maintaining checklists/records, and resolving repeated faults and warnings.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, prepare RCA reports, monitor MTBF, MTTR, PLF, PR, and CFR, and ensure continuous operational, process, and quality improvement including Kaizen.
Maintain operational records, equipment history, calibration schedules, engineering drawing verification, and ensure proper documentation and audit compliance for tools, materials, and store transactions.
Monitor spare parts availability, repeated spare failures, warranty/FOC claims, damaged material returns, and availability of operational resources including tools, PPEs, and stationery.
Ensure safe plant operations through implementation of PTW, TBT, LOTO, safety drills, near-miss reporting, and adherence to safety, health, quality, and corporate governance standards.
Prepare and submit safety, PM, connectivity, PIP, compliance, calibration, tools, PPE, and statutory reports within the required timeline.
Ensure statutory compliance, ethical operations, and proper disposal/management of waste materials and damaged equipment.
Maintain communication and coordination with stakeholders, landowners, vendors, local agencies, and regulatory authorities while resolving operational issues and implementing recommendations.
Monitor accounts-related payment activities and support smooth coordination for uninterrupted plant operations.
Train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate employees while ensuring efficient utilization of technical skills and operational performance.
Support HR activities including grievance handling, recruitment, attendance and leave approval, performance appraisal, succession planning, employee development, training, and separation procedures.
