Job Description
CBRE is hiring an Energy & ESG Consultant in India. The role involves project delivery, technical support, data analysis, and reporting related to building decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field, experience in energy modeling, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in Portuguese and English are required. The position is full-time.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Technical Support
• Contribute to the development and execution of building decarbonization audits and action plans.
• Assist in evaluating the feasibility of photovoltaic systems, including energy output and return on investment analyses.
• Support energy-related components of building certification processes such as WiredScore, BREEAM, LEED, and WELL.
• Participate in life cycle assessments (LCA) and embodied carbon analyses for materials and systems used in buildings.
• Assist in preparing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) in alignment with applicable local standards.
• Develop dynamic energy and thermal comfort simulation models to inform design and retrofit decisions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients.
• Analyze building energy performance data and offer actionable insights to enhance energy efficiency.
• Support the tracking and evaluation of sustainability initiative outcomes.
• Help ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to documentation aligned with ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.
Qualifications & Requirements
• A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in energy modeling and energy efficiency within the real estate sector.
• Background in sustainability consulting for real estate projects is an asset.
• Knowledge or strong interest in building energy systems and green building certifications.
• Familiarity with decarbonization strategies and renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV technology.
Key Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly with energy and environmental data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in team settings.
• Adaptable, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English.
