JOB DESCRIPTION

The Trainee Electronic Technician is responsible for following the trainee technical package to be able to minimize electronic and electrical failures in equipment in order to prevent either lost time or poor quality data by ensuring that their assigned equipment is maintained as per Standards and according to the latest specification.

He/she performs preventive maintenance and modifications under technical supervision according to defined schedules. He/she is aware of the potential risks associated with such maintenance and works in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner.

- Learns, through organized seminars and personal study, the operational and technical characteristics of electronic equipment, and ensures his/her training is on schedule and accurately recorded.

- Keeps current with new Segment electronic equipment and technology and updated maintenance methods.

- Keeps Maintenance Manuals and other confidential documents secure and in good order.- Follows the company policies and procedures on health, safety, and environment.

Experience:

- Educational background of 3 years of technical degree and computer literacy is a requirement.

- Ability to communicate clearly with superiors and engineers. Candidates should be able to communicate in both written and spoken English.

PAYABLE TERMS

Recruiters receive contract commission payments once per month. Payment is processed after work for each contractor is verified at the end of the month. The commission is paid out on the first pay period of the following month. Depending on when your candidate starts, the first payment may take 4 to 6 weeks to receive.
