TOMRA, an international recycling company is looking to fill the role of an Electronic Lab Repair Technician at our Shelton, CT facility.

$22 - $23/Hr Based on experience Flex start - 5am -7am / 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Job Description

The Lab Technician role requires the skills and technical knowledge needed to successfully, analyze, test, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and rebuild all electrical equipment required in Tomra Reverse Vending Machines. The singular goal of the position, but not limited to the repairing, manufacturing, testing, or maintaining all Tomra electrical equipment.
• Must able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair/replace electrical components used in Tomra equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams, schematics and follow proper electrical testing guidelines.
• Able to repair/replace electric circuits and systems to include but not limited to motors, fuses, circuit breakers, contactors, sensing switches, control wiring and transformers.
• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the proper use of PPE and safe work practices for the above skill area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and related test equipment. Have a basic operational knowledge of computers and related peripherals, production-based ERP systems and inventory control processes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience with safety practices and OSHA requirements.

High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent level reading, writing, and math skills.
