Job Summary

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with systems, software, and hardware subject matter experts, certification engineers, DERs, configuration management, and safety engineers to ensure all aspects of development and certification of our programs are maintained and followed.
Main Responsibilities
• Airborne & Production (SQA) Activities and Auditing
• SQA process improvements and updates
• Auditing of the Software Life Cycle Processes and Data
• Management of Software Quality Assurance Records
• Reporting progress and risks to stakeholders
• Support the AS9100 quality system requirements
• Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for internal nonconformities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
• B.S. in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or quality discipline
• 2+ years of experience in aerospace systems development lifecycle in accordance with certification processes such as DO-178C (and supplements), DO-254, ARP4754A, ISO9001, and/or AS9100
• Familiarity with FAA Part 33, 27, 25, 23 or EVTOL regulations
• Google G-Suite including Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Charts, Slack, Polarion, JIRA
• Superb problem solving, team communications, attention to detail, analytical and methodical skills
