Our Residential Electrical Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical systems in residential homes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential electrical systems are safe, efficient, and reliable.



Your Day-to-Day: Repairs: Troubleshoot electrical issues such as malfunctioning outlets, flickering lights, or tripping circuit breakers. You will diagnose the problem and repair or replace faulty components to ensure safety and functionality. Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure that electrical systems are functioning properly and are up to code. This may involve inspecting wiring, testing circuits, and replacing worn-out parts. Upgrades: Upgrade electrical systems to accommodate additional appliances, lighting, or technology if needed. This could include installing new circuits, upgrading panel boxes, or adding surge protectors. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards and building codes to prevent hazards such as electrical fires, shocks, or short circuits. Customer Service: Communicate with homeowners to understand their electrical needs, provide estimates for projects, and answer any questions or concerns they may have. What Does It Take?

Valid Journeyman Electrical License in the state of Michigan, 3+ years Apprentices will be considered 3+ years of residential electrical experience Hand tools Knowledge of MRC and NEC Ability to diagnose and fix complex problems Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and educating customers on all options Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver's License required Clear background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and drug screen Ability to work independently or in a team environment About Service Professor:
