Job Description

NextWave Partners seeks an Electrical Engineer (Grid Connection & Power Systems) for renewable energy projects in Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Adelaide). About the Role

We are working with a leading developer of re ewable energy projects globally and seeking an Electrical Engineer with a focus on grid connection and power systems.

Responsibilities

Working within the grid connection team, supporting the development and delivery of greenfield renewable energy projects through the grid connection process * Execute and reveiw power system studies (load flow, grid stability, dyanmic studies and more)
• Manage and negotiate technical standards with AEMO, TNSPs, & DNSP
• Provide technical support in relation to power systems and grid connection across all phases of the project

Particiape in internal discussions on how to create streamline process to ensure a smooth development and application process

Requirements
• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering / Power System Engineering

2-5 yeas hands on working experience in grid connections / power systems * Good knowledge of NER and GPS standards

Experience working on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or BESS) preferred

Proficiency using PSSE, PSCAD and PowerFactory * Australian working rights
