EHS Officer

Ipca Laboratories Limited is seeking an EHS Officer in Jorethang, Sikkim, India. The role involves implementing safety programs, conducting inspections and audits, developing EHS policies, providing training, ensuring compliance with regulations, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirement.
• Implement and monitor workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Develop and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees, including emergency response drills.
• Ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations, including OSHA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and update EHS documentation, safety permits, and regulatory reports.
