Ecosystem Restoration Specialist

Ntu International A/S is hiring an Ecosystem Restoration Specialist in Madrid, Spain, to support an EU-funded project focused on climate adaptation and nature-based solutions. The role involves providing technical and financial advisory services to public promoters and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance climate resilience. Candidates should have a relevant degree, excellent English skills, and at least 15 years of experience in nature management and project implementation.
At Ntu International A/S, we are driving a consortium to implement the EU-funded project: Advisory Support on Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Nature-based Solutions in Environmental Sectors. We are seeking experts to support our core team during the implementation of this project.

The primary objective of this assignment is to accelerate environmental investments by providing targeted technical and financial advisory support to public promoters inside the EU. This involves enhancing climate resilience and promoting nature-based solutions to foster sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the core team in implementing the EU-funded project
• Provide technical and financial advisory services to public promoters
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance climate resilience and promote nature-based solutions

Requirements:
• University Degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in biology, environmental sciences, or natural resources management
• Excellent written and spoken English skills (CEFR C1) or equivalent
• At least 15 years of professional experience in advisory, research, advocacy, nature/land management, and nature-based solutions
• Specific professional experience in managing or supporting nature and biodiversity projects or programs
• Experience related to project development or implementation of nature-based solutions
