A leading energy company is seeking a Business Development Manager, Capital Deployment to drive financing strategies for large-scale battery storage projects. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading a small team focused on structuring innovative financial solutions, building strategic partnerships, and launching new investment vehicles to accelerate project deployment and market growth.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of energy storage by leveraging strong financial expertise, market insight, and creative deal‑making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end capital deployment process, including opportunity sourcing, deal structuring, risk assessment, and execution
• Develop and standardize financial products such as term loans, construction financing, and bridge loans for global customers
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, private equity firms, and institutional investors
• Create scalable investment structures to expand market reach and maximize capital efficiency
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in project finance, banking, or investments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong background in renewable energy or energy storage financing preferred
• Proven success in structuring and closing complex financial transactions
• Experience launching funds or similar investment initiatives
• Deep understanding of the U.S. utility-scale energy market, including regulatory and market dynamics
• Knowledge of full project development lifecycle (feasibility, permitting, EPC, operations)
• International experience (Latin America, Europe, or Middle East) is a plus
