DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management System ) Administrator

MWResource, Inc. is seeking a DERMS Administrator for a direct hire position in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with 5+ years of experience in energy analytics or DERMS-related roles. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is essential. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite per week. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.

DERMS EXPEIRENCE IS REQUIRED

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related. 5+ years energy analytics, grid ops or DERMS-related roles, strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis. SCADA experience for a utility, knowledge of power systems, DER technologies and grid modernization

Required Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with data-driven mindset, team player

Preferred Skills:

Machine learning and predictive analytics for DER forecasting, cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud), third-party DERMS solutions (e.g., Concerto), certification in SQL, Power BI or relevant energy analytics tools, understanding of FERC, NERC and ISO/RTO market regulations, AspenTech OSI DERMS software
