ABOUT US:Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Debt Capital Markets (“DCM”) team plays a critical role in advancing Bayview’s mission by structuring, executing, and administering financing transactions that support our broad asset management mandate.

As a DCM Associate, you will play a central role in financing execution by:

Supporting the structuring and execution of asset-backed financing transactionsDeveloping materials and analyses that guide investment decisions and external lender discussionsEngaging directly with lenders and other stakeholders to support communication and efficient executionPartnering with internal groups including Portfolio Management, Finance and Legal to align priorities and drive resultsDeveloping market fluency through analysis of comparable transactions, lender feedback and ABS primary market data to inform execution decisionsThis role is designed for a motivated professional who brings strong credit fundamentals, attention to detail and a process-driven mindset. The Associate will be expected to manage competing priorities with discipline, communicate clearly across audiences and operate as a collaborative, low-ego teammate. Over time, this role offers a clear path to grow into lead execution and become a trusted partner to Bayview’s investment teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in structuring and executing asset-backed financings across revolving and term facilities in a variety of consumer asset classesAnalyze and compare alternative financing structures to prepare materials for the Portfolio Management team that inform investment committee decisions and ensure competitiveness in asset acquisitionsSupport and assist in managing transaction processes and documentation, coordinating with counsel and counterparties to ensure terms are accurately reflected and execution is timely and organizedManage closings and funding logistics in coordination with Finance, Treasury, Operations and external counterpartiesSupport relationship management with lenders and other financing partners, developing the professional presence to represent Bayview externally and build trusted relationships over timeMonitor primary market data, comparable transactions and lender feedback to synthesize insights which help shape financing strategyDemonstrate the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to unfamiliar asset classes and complex capital structures, building expertise through executionQualifications:2–5 years of experience in structured finance, debt capital markets, investment banking or commercial bankingBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field requiredStrong analytical and quantitative skills with solid academic backgroundCFA charter holder or candidate a plusSKILLS:Solid foundation in structured finance and credit markets, with working knowledge of financing mechanics and capacity to broaden expertise in asset-backed productsAbility to review and negotiate term sheet and legal documentation under tight timelines, coordinating effectively with counsel and external counterpartiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging internal stakeholders and external partnersStrong organizational and project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative and adaptable, with intellectual curiosity to learn new products and capital structures quicklyProficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and preparation of lender-facing diligence materialsFamiliarity with Bloomberg and other financial analytics tools a plusCertifications, Licenses, and/or Registration CFA charter holder or candidate preferred, other relevant financial certifications a plusLOCATION and COMPENSATION:
