Data Analyst Intern – Strategy & Innovation

Summary: Eagle Creek RE Management, LLC (Eagle Creek) is hiring Business Analysts for Eagle Creek’s 2024 Fall Internship Program to aid in fleet-wide strategic or Innovative projects to support our existing hydro stations.

Eagle Creek, through its affiliate companies, owns and operates 86 hydroelectric facilities in the United States. Our mission is to create value for our stakeholders - including the communities where we operate - through an ongoing commitment to safety, compliance, stewardship, innovation, and growth for our portfolio of renewable energy generating facilities.

Anticipated Responsibilities:
• Project due diligence
• Conduct project research for newly introduced project ideas
• Impact assessment model creation for projects and coordination with Asset Management to discover opportunities
• Technology Development/Utilization
• Develop new technological systems for use across the fleet
• Support integration of newly developed technological systems
• General Business Optimization
• Conduct innovative inspections and analysis
• Attend career fair and industry resource events
• Support external company communication via social media
• Final Internship Report
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate Rising Junior / Senior with strong academic background in STEM
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs required
• Highly organized, strong research, writing, and project management skills
• Passion for renewable energy and interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment
Miscellaneous: Potential opportunity for follow-on work for 2025 Spring and/or full-time hire post-graduation. Interns can expect mentoring / educational opportunities from Eagle Creek employees during the 12-week internship.
