The role involves overseeing corporate finance activities, including financial reporting, treasury management, and managing long-term finance agreements for a portfolio of wind and solar projects. Description
Cubico in Mexico is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager. The role will require the candidate to oversee all corporate finance activities for Cubico in Mexico, including among other things all financial reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders as well as management of treasury and cash management activities. Cubico’s portfolio in Mexico is comprised of 600 MWs of wind and solar projects currently in operation. The role will report into the Finance Director in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage long-term finance agreements – maintain contract obligations, affirmative and negative covenants, reserve accounts, reports, etc.
• Bank Guarantees - maintenance / renewal / reductions;
• Insurance - Broker relationship and policies renewals
• Updated financial models and Mexico portfolio valuation process
• Preparation of models ad-hoc, including tax models
• Supervise preparation of liquidity forecasts / capital requirements
• Supervision/support on cash management processes
• Preparation of DSCR projections
• Preparation of analysis ad hoc

• Mexico Finance Director
• Mexico Country Head and O&E team
• SVP, Head of Finance and Tax
• Group Financial Controller
• Corporate Treasurer
• Project Finance Lenders & Corporate Banking syndicate
• Insurance companies

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• BA in Accounting or Financial Management
• Previous experience in the position, at least 3 years
• Reporting experience from working in asset/project of similar industries or energy industry
• Strong experience in modelling
• Experience in liaising with Financial Institutions as Lenders
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of the energy/utilities industry (preferably)
• Have strong Microsoft Office© skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communications skills
• Strong analytical capabilities
