Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled OT Systems Engineer to join our team at Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy, LLC. As an OT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of control (DCS) and business communications networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, programs, inspects, troubleshoots, and adjusts electrical equipment, instrumentation, and related information systems.
• Performs tests and maintenance on electrical and instrumentation communication equipment; interprets readings and outputs of equipment; ensures proper functioning of equipment.
• Performs basic programming for utilities information systems; programs with ladder logic and relay logic; operates PLCs, RTUs, and associated inputs/outputs; performs telecommunications networking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience:

• Two or four-year degree in computer science or a pertinent engineering field preferred;
• Work experience in a systems engineer or equivalent role for a minimum of 3 years required;
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail;
• Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs;
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders;
• Ability to work in outside conditions and adverse weather;
• Regular exposure to high noise environments and dusty conditions.
