About the Role:
• Support the Construction Team in delivering construction projects from framing through to completion, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and meeting deadlines;
• Identify deficiencies, assess, and complete repairs in a timely manner;
• Seek opportunities to assist homeowners and provide a positive experience;
• Present yourself professionally and customer-focused in all interactions with homeowners;
• Report any safety issues to Health & Safety Rep or direct supervisor, including wearing protective gear;
• Complete repair lists resulting from quality control MPDI and PDO inspections;
• Report defects and damages to Foreman if applicable;
• Conduct interior repairs on windows, doors, frames, baseboards, floors;
• Conduct carpentry finishing as required;
• Conduct repairs on insulation and drywall as required;
• Prepare houses for inspections, including City and customer;
• Clean up homes inside and out;
• Repair insulation and drywall as required.
We're Looking For:
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience (We'll provide on-the-job training);
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required;
• General knowledge of residential construction repairs;
• Strong communication skills;
• An eye for detail and ability to take direction;
• A passion for great customer service and helping fellow coworkers;
• Confidence in working independently, a team player who can be depended on.
