Construction Laborer

Location: Grand Forks, ND

Pay: $20 - $25/hr DOE

Schedule: 7am - 5:30pm M-F

Position Summary:
Express Employment is seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support various construction projects in the Grand Forks area. This position involves assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing job sites, and performing general labor duties to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up materials
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Support carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite
• Dig trenches, backfill, and perform basic concrete or groundwork tasks
• Assist with demolition and cleanup activities
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Work Environment:
• Outdoor construction sites in and around Grand Forks
• Exposure to weather, noise, dust, and heavy equipment
• May require extended hours, weekends, or overtime depending on project needs
Schedule & Pay:
• Full-time, typically 40+ hours per week
