Job Description

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is hiring Conservation Aid 3 positions, with minimum qualifications waived until June 30, 2025. These roles assist in conservation projects and require a valid driver's license. Positions are seasonal, lasting 3 to 6 months, working four 10-hour days in the field, often camping at remote sites in Elko, Fallon, Reno, and Winnemucca. No degree is required.
The Position Conservation Aids assist professional staff in a variety of projects involving the conservation and preservation of the State's natural resources.Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. PER EXECUTIVE ORDER 2024-007, ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL JUNE 30TH, 2025.
