Job Description

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Concrete Technician for field inspection and testing of concrete in Canada. Responsibilities include sampling, temperature monitoring, and maintaining testing equipment, while adhering to safety policies. Candidates should have concrete testing experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to work in various conditions and shifts. Primary Scope of Role

The primary scope of this role includes:
• Field inspection and testing of concrete.
• Field testing to include sampling and coring of concrete.
• Thermocouple temperature monitoring, installation, and data collection.
• Assisting in the proper care, control, and maintenance of the testing equipment.

In addition, the following responsibilities are required:
• To follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
• To complete field inspection reports and pour summaries as per company policies and/or contract requirements and advise supervisors plus site staff of any non-conformances and deviations.
• To perform other duties as instructed.
Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• A post-secondary education in a 2- or 3-year college program such as Civil / Construction Engineering or an equivalent program (asset).
• CCIL or ACI concrete certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of concrete testing experience on commercial, industrial, or road building projects within Canada.
• The ability to use and maintain hand and power tools.
• A valid G (or equivalent) driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
• The ability to perform heavy lifting (>25kg).
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a variety of weather conditions.
• The ability to travel between projects.
• The ability to perform shiftwork, including nights and weekends.
• The ability to work long shifts and extended hours.
