Job Description
The VONG Movement is seeking a Community Specialist Intern in Dombivli, Maharashtra, for a 6-month internship focused on sustainability. Responsibilities include designing online communities for students on sustainability themes, engaging with partners, and driving fundraising initiatives. The role offers a stipend that increases based on performance, flexible work timings, and opportunities for interaction with NGOs. The internship aims to empower youth in sustainability and align with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Position: Community Specialist Intern for an NGO in sustainability
Location: Dombivli
Goal:
Design of Online Communities on themes like climate crisis, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, for school students ( 13 to 18 years old). Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Design and plan a highly engaged, growing online community of school students for one or more Sustainable Development Goals. a. design challenges to learn b. create avenues to express c. design meet-ups d. incorporate awards and rewards through gamification
2. Create avenues for partner organizations to further their goals and also sponsor our initiatives while enhancing their brand
3. Develop relationships with sponsors and Donors to support the community
5. Drive Fundraising initiatives for your community Duration: 6 Months Stipend:
Rs. 5,000 per month for the first 2 months Upto Rs 7,500 per month for months 3 and 4 months ( subject to a performance rating of 4 or 5 on a scale of
5) Upto Rs. 10,000 per month for months 5 and 6 ( subject to a performance rating of 4 or 5 on a scale of
