About the Job

The Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy (OSCE) is seeking a highly skilled Facilitation Consultant to contribute to the Wisconsin Climate Action Navigators (WI CAN) Network.

This is a long-term, on-call/remote position with travel requirements of 2-3 times per month. The ideal candidate will collaborate with OSCE staff to facilitate meaningful engagement and initiatives within the network.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach and communications strategy for the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program.
• Collaborate with the Outreach and Engagement Specialist to identify stakeholder engagement activities.
• Conduct regional community-focused strategic planning meetings with various entities, including metropolitan statistical areas, regional planning commissions, Tribal Nations, state agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
• Summarize meeting results into concise reports to inform Priority and Comprehensive Climate Action plans.
• Assist in organizing information for required reports and work with coordinating entities to define measures and build metrics around prioritized strategies.
• Design and develop facilitation tools and tactics to reach target audiences.
• Work independently on qualitative analysis of outreach and engagement, maintenance of the WI CAN website and LinkedIn group site, and providing support to WI CAN members as needed.

The OSCE collaborates with diverse partners on climate and energy-related strategies, including non-profit, business, agricultural, industrial, and local government sector partners.

The OSCE administers the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Program (CPRG), which seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development in Wisconsin.
