Join our growing Water Resources team in St. Louis and help us shape resilient, sustainable communities! We’re looking for a motivated Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) who’s ready to dive into impactful work — from stormwater master planning and flood mitigation to stream stabilization and hydraulic modeling.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants hands-on experience, diverse project exposure, and collaboration across disciplines — including our Water/Wastewater and Potable Water teams.

What You’ll Do
• Collaborate with project teams while independently learning and applying engineering principles.
• Assist in the design and delivery of stormwater, flood reduction, and stream stabilization projects.
• Support hydraulic modeling and water resources planning efforts.
• Partner with Wastewater and Potable Water teams to complete projects.
• Conduct field visits to collect data and observe project sites.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, CAD designers, and other team members.

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline).
• EIT or PE certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• 0–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.); experience with Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred.
