About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an industrial services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and accelerating organic growth, building on the commercial engine, and identifying initiatives for scale and margin expansion. The role requires a passionate and committed leader with a strong commercial focus, ideally with a background in a business model that utilizes a unionized distributed workforce. The CEO will be expected to honor the company's past while driving it into the future, and a background as a President or GM in a lower-middle market business, or a Divisional President from a larger enterprise, is preferred. Experience in private equity and M&A is a plus, and the candidate should have a proven track record of at least 20 years in a progressive career. The ideal CEO for the company will have a background in a project-based industrial services business, with experience in both the private and public sectors. The role is pivotal in leading the company through a period of professionalization and transformation, and the candidate should be prepared to take on the challenge of a control buyout.
