CASUAL Lab Technician

Eurofins is hiring a casual Lab Technician in Hindmarsh, SA, Australia, for sample preparation and analysis. No prior lab experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. The role involves shift work with varying hours and potential for full-time hours in March 2025. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team. The position is open to those eligible to work in Australia/New Zealand.
The role is primarily preparing samples for instrument analysis involving dispensing extraction solutions capping tubes centrifuging and transferring extracted samples to secondary tubes. Working in a team you will accurately and efficiently process samples for various tests. On the job training is provided so no laboratory experience is required.
• Entry level role with on the job training provided
• Casual role with varying hours week to week potential for full time hours throughout March
• Commencing beginning of March 2025 approx 12 months
• Hourly rate of $35.03 penalties
• Based in Hindmarsh South Australia

Shift work roster
• We operate on the following shift structures and ideally you would be available on a rotating basis Monday to Friday:
• Day shift 8 hours between (7am 6pm)

Qualifications :

Reliable and ideally able to work a rotating shift roster
• Ability to follow procedures with excellent attention to detail
• Willing to work as part of a team with emphasis on quality and safety
• Experience working in a fastpaced environment would be advantageous (eg. Fast food hospitality / warehouse)
• Good organisational skills can multitask
• Experience in a commercial sample preparation laboratory would be advantageous but not a requirement to be successful in this role
