About the opportunity:

Opportunity for an initial 12 month contract in the Capability and Leadership team as the Capability Lead.

The Capability Lead is responsible for coordinating the training and development needs of a particular function or department, ensuring employees obtain the necessary skills, education, relationships, and experience for success by liaising and partnering with individuals, leaders, and stakeholders through a structured approach.

Key Responsibilities Include
• Leading the development of new and continuous improvement of existing training modules (learner resources and training materials) on an as-needed basis.
• Coordinating the efficient and effective delivery of training modules for the development of identified individuals within the function or department.
• Supporting the department or function Management Team in identifying, coordinating, and delivering training and development needs for the team including building leadership capability in alignment with the SA Power Networks’ Leadership Blueprint.
• Supporting the department or function Management Team in the development of talent pipelines and career progression opportunities for key roles within the team and within established budgets.
• Drive the coordination, design, development and monitoring of both internal and external training programs and plans for the function or Department.
• Liaison with the Pathway Programs team to ensure overall coordination, ongoing relevancy and success of the relevant early career programs e.g. the Cadet Program, Graduate Program, and other workforce development programs.

Other criteria include:
• Diploma level qualification in Adult Education, Human Resources or Organisational Development, or a related field, or equivalent skills and knowledge gained through experience.
• Drivers licence (Class C)
