Mission of the Role

Drive the development and successful market launch of Pakka Ltds flexible packaging program, ensuring innovation, sustainability, and profitability by leveraging R&D, outsourced manufacturing, and organizational strengths.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management:
Lead the end-to-end development and commercialization of flexible packaging solutions.
Collaborate with the R&D team to finalize partially developed flexible film grades.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Business Development and Revenue Generation:
Achieve INR 50 Cr in revenue within the first year by commercializing flexible films.
Identify and acquire at least five new clients from diverse industries.
Develop competitive pricing strategies and value propositions to penetrate the market effectively.
Supply Chain and Outsourcing Management:
Establish partnerships with reliable outsourced manufacturers for scalable production.
Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery through an optimized supply chain.
Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
Act as the face of the program, ensuring alignment with customer needs and expectations.
Present program updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Strategic Vision and Execution:
Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the flexible packaging program.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities to enhance competitive positioning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the programs integration with organizational goals.
Financial Acumen:
Develop cost models and manage program budgets to ensure profitability.
Monitor financial performance, achieving a minimum 20% gross margin by the second year.
Optimize resources and costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Key Outcomes (Year 1)
Launch a market-ready flexible packaging solution and achieve INR 50 Cr in revenue.
Establish a reliable outsourced manufacturing process with consistent quality and delivery.
Secure five key clients and three long-term agreements to drive sustainable business growth.

Qualifications And Experience
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience:
8-12 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, with exposure to program management, business development, or supply chain.
Proven track record of launching and scaling innovative products.
Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, market trends, and customer needs.
Skills:
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead like a startup founder.
Expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and financial planning.
Strong communication, negotiation, and team collaboration skills.
