The Nevada Department of Wildlife is hiring a Biologist 4 in Las Vegas, NV, responsible for supervising fisheries, wildlife, and habitat management projects. The Position: Biologists conduct fisheries, wildlife and/or habitat management projects and research studies including data collection, analysis and interpretation; develop and implement project proposals and work plans; prepare recommendations; and participate in public relations activities.Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action.This Biologist 4 position is the Southern Regional Game Supervisor and is responsible to coordinate with Game Division and field staff to effectively and efficiently conduct both field and data management work for the projects.
