Job Description

The Field Studies Council is seeking a Biodiversity Course Administrator to manage customer inquiries, bookings, and support tutors in delivering biodiversity training programs. This full-time role offers a salary of approximately £25,267 per year, with excellent benefits and the flexibility of remote work. Candidates should be organized, IT proficient, and passionate about biodiversity and environmental education. Occasional UK travel for team meetings may be required.

What you’ll be doing

As our Biodiversity Course Administrator, you’ll be the friendly and efficient first point of contact for customer enquiries, handling bookings, invoicing, and supporting our network of expert tutors. Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing customer queries via phone and email
• Processing course bookings, invoices, and assisting corporate course sales.
• Ensuring accuracy of all administration entered into our dedicated booking system.
• Assisting in promoting our programmes to potential customers and stakeholders.
• Helping onboard new tutors and ensuring smooth communication.
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with reports.

Where you’ll be based

The location for this position is flexible with remote working / home working welcomed. Occasional travel within the UK to meet with your team will be required, but this will be agreed in advance with appropriate notice.
