Job Description

Motion Recruitment is hiring an Automotive Technician for an electric vehicle manufacturer in Sharonville, OH. This contract position requires varying levels of automotive experience, proficiency with tools, and a valid driver's license. The role involves conducting vehicle inspections, repairs, and supporting daily operations. The technician will work Tuesday to Friday, 7 PM to 6 AM, with potential for extension or conversion. Our client is an electric vehicle manufacturer in Sharonville, OH!

Contract duration: 5 months to start, can extend or convert.

TUESDAY- FRIDAY 7:00PM - 6:00AM
• Third Shift - 4/10 Schedule

Required Skills & Experience:

MVR Required
• Level 1 Technician: Less than 2 years of experience in a directly related trade (tire shop for example, motorcycle repair shop, but not cashier); no automotive specific training required
• Level 2 Technician: 2-4 years of experience in an automotive specific environment with exposure to various repairs (usually an independent shop, or dealership -not only oil changes, or tires); automotive training preferred
• Level 3 Technician: 5+ years of automotive experience, EV experience preferred
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays, according to business need. Shifts may include evening, overnight, or early morning hours
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record
• No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License (within a 3-5year period)

Daily Responsibilities
• Ability to assist in daily Amazon EDV business operations often requested on ad hoc basis, including shuttling vehicles back and forth from delivery stations
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles, using a documented process, checklist, and guidelines
• Document results (pass/fail)of pre-delivery inspections and communicate results to team members/supervisor
• Follow repair procedures with efficiency without compromising quality and safety
• Perform or assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles
• Assist and support vehicle repairs in a setting outside of a service center
• Conduct road tests on vehicles to ensure quality of the repair
• Perform necessary parts operations such as parts ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory
• Stay up to date with technical skills and required training
• Provide service support to the field to support the Service organization
