Job Description

CMR Green Technologies is seeking an Assistant Manager Security-Incharge for their new Aluminium Ingots & Liquid Aluminium Manufacturing Plant in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 26 years of industrial security experience. Responsibilities include establishing security systems during construction, ensuring asset protection, and maintaining safety protocols. The position focuses on both project phase and full-scale plant operations.

As part of our strategic expansion, CMR is establishing a new Aluminium Ingots & Liquid Aluminium Manufacturing Plant at Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu , with a total installed capacity of 36, 000 MTPA , to be developed in phases.

Qualification
Essential
Bachelors or Masters Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
Desirable
Diploma / Certification in Fire & Safety, Security Management, or Armed Forces training
Experience
Essential
26 years of experience in Industrial Security
Desired
Experience in manufacturing or large industrial environment
Exposure to plant security systems, emergency response, and statutory compliance


Deployment Plan (Project Stage Focus)


The selected candidate will be deployed at the Shoolagiri project site during the plant construction and commissioning phase. The role will focus on establishing robust security systems, ensuring protection of assets, materials, and workforce, and supporting safe project execution.


Post-commissioning, the role will transition into full-scale plant security operations.


Job Responsibilities
During Project Phase
Establish and implement security systems for construction site, equipment, and materials
Control entry and exit of manpower, contractors, and vehicles


Ensure strict adherence to SOPs for men, material, and vehicle movement


Prevent theft, pilferage, vandalism, and unauthorized access


Coordinate with project team to safeguard high-value equipment and installations


Maintain liaison with local law enforcement agencies and authorities


Support emergency preparedness, fire safety measures, and incident response


Monitor contractor camps and temporary facilities for safety and discipline


Assist in developing security procedures and risk mitigation plans


During Plant Operations
Ensure overall security of plant premises, assets, and personnel
Enforce SOPs related to gate control and material movement


Protect company property by maintaining a safe and secure environment


Conduct routine patrols across plant areas


Monitor loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods


Supervise traffic management within plant premises to ensure accident-free movement


Identify security risks and implement preventive measures


Minimize accidents, thefts, and incidents through proactive planning


Submit regular security reports to management


Coordinate closely with local police authorities for plant security


Ensure environmental protection through maintenance of greenery and biodiversity initiatives
