Assistant Manager (Environmental Health)

The National Environment Agency seeks an Assistant Manager (Environmental Health) for its Eastern Regional Office in Singapore. The role involves implementing and enforcing environmental health programmes, investigating cleanliness issues, educating the public, and managing vector control efforts. Ideal candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be analytical, and have a commitment to public health. The position requires full-time commitment and may involve working outside regular hours.
What the role is:
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our Eastern Regional Office in the Environmental Public Health Operations Group. In this role, you will implement, engage, and enforce key environmental health programmes to safeguard a high standard of public health in Singapore.

What you will be working on:

You will be posted to one of the sections below.

Sanitation Section:
• Investigate feedback related to cleanliness, littering and smoking in prohibited areas
• Educate the public on good environmental practices
• Conduct enforcement on related offences

Vector Control Section:
• Assist in leading a team of officers to conduct vector-related surveillance checks and manage outbreaks
• Liaise with stakeholders to implement control measures
