Assistant Engineer, O&M, Solar

Keppel Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer for O&M in Solar, based in Singapore. Responsibilities include assisting in the operation and maintenance of solar PV systems, monitoring performance, reporting defects, maintaining logs, performing inspections, and supervising maintenance work. Candidates should have a Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in a related field with at least 2 years of experience in solar systems. The role requires on-site presence and travel.
Job Description:




Assist the Engineer in manning the solar photovoltaic (PV) system operation and maintenanceMonitor and analyse system performance and CCTV operations from Operations CentreReport/ record defects and alarms during operationsMaintain and update equipment logs, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacementsCarry out routine tests and inspection on the solar systemsPerform basic troubleshooting on system fault and monitoring equipmentSupervise externally sourced maintenanceSupervise maintenance works and ensure its compliance to all safety policies and proceduresAbility to travel to sites to provide technical support to clientsSuch other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor from time to time


Job Requirement:




Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience working with solar system or energy storage systemsFamiliar with solar PV systems, electrical wiring, and system installationsMust be able to work at heights, including climbing ladders and accessing rooftopsThose with electrical certifications will have an added advantage
