The role:
Reporting to General Manager, you will aid in driving revenue and profit growth through the attainment of new business and the creation of new relationships.
This is a Newcastle based role, assisting with our regional expansion as a civil contractor and a first option for all wet and dry plant hire needs.
Regional travel will be needed and so we preface that we require flexibility for this role.
Your impact:
Your success will result in an increased client based in NSW as well as regional market growth.
Your every day:
• Conduct thorough research on multiple market sectors that are targeted by the business, identifying and prioritising quality leads and their services
• Through research, review and recommend sectors that require attention to lead the opportunity for future relationships
• Identify opportunities for campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in financial growth and new business prospects
• Manage and maintain strategic client plans, identifying key clients, their services and potential future business opportunities.
• Prepare and recommend a marketing plan & strategy.
Who are you?
• Previous account management/sales experience in the earthmoving, pumping and power equipment hire space
• A proven record within the Mining and construction sectors, and creating opportunities with new businesses
• Established relationships in the Hunter region
• Experience managing a large territory
• A demonstrated track record in the ability to expand existing customer bases
