This position focuses on reducing or preventing disproportionate negative impacts from pollution, analyzing existing policies, and recommending improvements to enhance service delivery. Responsibilities
• Coordinate the implementation of environmental justice processes within the air quality permitting program.

Requirements
• Three years of professional-level experience in environmental regulation, management, or analysis.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental sciences can substitute for one year of experience.

• Understanding of federal and state regulatory frameworks applicable to industrial facilities.

• Strong project management skills to complete special projects.

• Ability to effectively represent the MPCA on social, economic, and environmental issues.

• Demonstrated verbal communication and technical writing skills.

• Proficient in using computer programs and agency databases, including Tempo.

• Valid Class D Driver's License.
