Job Description
The University of Salford offers a full-time interdisciplinary PhD project focused on the AI-driven integration of renewable energy and electric vehicles in multi-microgrid systems. The research aims to enhance resilience, security, and decarbonization using advanced AI and machine learning techniques. It supports real-time decision-making and aligns with global sustainability goals, while fostering industry collaboration, particularly with ETAP software and fuel cell infrastructure.
This interdisciplinary PhD project aims to explore the intelligent integration of renewable energy sources and Fuel Cells into multi-microgrid systems, with a focus on enhancing resilience, cyber-physical security, and decarbonization. Leveraging advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques, the research will develop scalable models and optimization frameworks to support real-time decision-making, emission reduction, and secure energy management. The project aligns with global sustainability goals and supports industry collaboration, including potential engagement with ETAP software and fuel cell infrastructure.
