Location: Bromborough Lecturer in Sustainable Construction - SalfordOpportunity OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and committed team player to join our Building Surveying team as a Lecturer in Sustainable Construction teaching on our professionally accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Reporting to the Head of Property and Surveying, you will teach and lead modules on sustainable construction and construction technology, supervise student research projects, and motivate students to reach their academic potential. You will have the opportunity to undertake individual or collaborative research, and develop your career in a supportive, innovative and diverse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the successful candidate you will:Demonstrate ability to design and deliver engaging teaching and learning activities, and supervise research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levelsDemonstrate knowledge of current and emerging developments in sustainable construction and construction technologyHave experience in the teaching or practice of sustainable constructionMotivate, coach and support students with a range of individual learning styles and development needsDemonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skillsAbout the SchoolThe School of Science, Environment and Engineering (SEE) is an inter-disciplinary School comprising world-leading research and industry-relevant teaching that aims to transform the quality of life for society and deliver a more sustainable future.
