DAI is seeking an Agricultural Equity and Sustainability Expert in Bethesda, MD to lead initiatives for women's empowerment and gender equality in agricultural supply chains. Job Summary

We are seeking an Agricultural Equity and Sustainability Expert to join our team at DAI. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our efforts in advancing women's empowerment and gender equality in agricultural supply chains.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of gender issues in agriculture and food systems, as well as experience working with private sector partners and international organizations.

About the Role
• Lead the development and implementation of a gender strategy that aligns with the project's goals and objectives
• Provide technical assistance to private sector partners on gender integration and sustainability
• Contribute to the planning, implementation, and monitoring of all project activities
• Advocate for policies and practices that promote gender equality and women's empowerment in agriculture

Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a college degree in a relevant field such as gender studies, sociology, international development, or a related field
• Experience with gender mainstreaming and promoting gender equality in development projects
• Strong knowledge of USAID's Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Policy and relevant regulations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
