JJ's Waste & Recycling is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for their Tendering team in Cleveland, Australia. The role involves compiling tender submissions, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have experience in preparing professional documents, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth an opportunity for a highly motivated and engaged individual to join our expanding professional and dynamic Tendering team!

In this role you will assist in the compilation of our Company’s Tender Submissions. The successful applicant will have the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand, and have excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and interpret tender documentation received from a variety of customers/ industries
• The development, research, writing, collation and implementation of Tender Submissions
• Ensure all Tendering activities are undertaken ethically and in accordance with the Local Government Act and Regulations
• Ensure accuracy of final response and submission of Tenders
• Work constructively alongside internal and external stakeholders
• Responsibility for ensuring deadlines are met
• Lend assistance/support to the team in day to day requirements

ABOUT YOU
• Experience in preparing professional documents
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close team
• High level attention to detail and customer service principles providing quality assurance
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
