ClimateAi is seeking a part-time writer to create content for their product marketing, focusing on climate and technical subjects. The role requires 5-7 years of experience and the ability to translate complex topics into engaging articles and blogs. Writers will collaborate with the PR team and must be open to feedback. The position is remote and promotes a diverse and inclusive culture.

About the Role

ClimateAI is hiring a part-time writer to join our team. This person will write content & articles to build our product marketing portfolio; write blog posts and op-eds, and work closely with our PR team. The right person for this role has experience writing on climate and/or technical subject matters, and is able produce writing samples with their application.

Desired Skills:
• Ideally 5-7 years of experience
• Proven ability to understand deeply technical topics (AI, Machine Learning, Climate Science) and translate to compelling content
• Established journalist with a portfolio of published articles.
• Ability to ask the right questions, efficiently meet with team members to obtain the right information to write content.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely across our team to understand our team to understand our product, customers and use cases to create compelling product marketing content
• Create content in form of articles, blogs, op-eds or papers based on around topics that ClimateAi is addressing; food security, climate resilience, climate change, etc
• Work closely with our PR partners to develop well-researched pitches.
• Convert the technical information they’ve acquired into readable, easy-to-understand content tailored to the specific audience.
• Open to feedback and making revisions as necessary.
